As we wrote about Williams this summer when evaluating ETG’s backcourt:
“If given a lane, Williams can take the rock to the hole as a hall-handler and finish with either hand. He intelligently gathers the ball high, and with his long arms, keeps it out of reach of defenders that could poke it away or block his shot.
Off-ball, he can serve as a lob-threat. Not often run for guards, ETG wasn’t afraid to run a back-screen lob from behind the three-point line to the high-flying Williams this summer. The speed and springy ability of Williams makes him a threat to get to the rim, but defenders have to account for his ability to shoot outside, too. The 6’3″ guard can step into a three from deep or catch and shoot.”
