Williams is a dynamic guard who is looking to build on a big junior season as well as a big summer season. He is a great athlete, which allows him to get to the rim, where he is smart and crafty. His athleticism also helps him out on the defensive end, where he often turns defense into offense. He is a good enough shooter that teams have to respect it, which allows him to get inside even more. If he can take that next step as a shooter, then the sky is the limit for Williams.

Williams stuffed the stat sheet last winter, as he averaged 18.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 4.1 apg, 2.7 spg, and 1.0 bpg during his junior campaign. There is no reason to expect him to take a step back this season. Jerri’on Williams had one of the most productive weekends for ETG on both sides of the ball.

On defense Williams is an athletic defender who communicates well and causes chaos constantly. Whether it be digging for steals off ball, playing passing lanes or ripping ball handlers he is an irritant to be aware of.

On offense his speed and handle allow him to get downhill at an impressive rate. Once he gets downhill his finishing can be a mixed bag as he can get stuck in traffic at times. However, he also showed several high-level finishes both through and around contact.

His shot has come along in the last year, as evidence by his four three pointers made performance against D1 Minnesota. He is creative enough to get to his shot whenever he wants from anywhere on the court.

Williams can be an ambitious passer at times leading to high quality reads as well as some head scratching passes every once in a while.

Williams best all-around performance of the weekend came in his 17-point three rebound, three assist and three steal game against Tennessee Impact.
