Once he gets into a rhythm, he can maintain high accuracy in his shots. In my opinion, he was one of the best shooters in the Austin Austin Summer League. On the other side of the ball, I was impressed with his hustle, as he put pressure on the ball and in passing lanes at times.

He dove for loose balls, applied relentless pressure on ball handlers, shut off drives with excellent help-side positioning, and completely boxed out his man to secure rebounds. His defensive intensity set the tone for his team’s resurgence. Thomas’s impact didn’t stop on defense, though. He followed up with back-to-back three-pointers from the right wing, shortening the deficit and breathing new life into his team. His two-way effort turned the momentum in their favor.
