Starr continues to elevate his game on a nightly basis, and it’s a big reason St. Mary’s is off to a strong 7–2 start. Averaging 13.3 points and 4.8 rebounds, he brings a dynamic presence from the point guard spot. His vision and feel stand out as he consistently makes the right reads and keeps teammates involved. Offensively his quick first step allows him to create off the dribble, attack gaps and finish or kick. He’s effective cutting without the ball, crashing the boards and knocking down the three. He’s rising in the rankings because his confidence and consistency are growing with each game. His ability to impact scoring, pace and winning while leading a successful team continues to separate him
