Jeremiah missed over half the season while waiting for eligibility after a transfer from Middlesboro but has hit the ground running in the last month. Averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds per game, Beck is an explosive athlete who gets downhill and attacks the rim at a high level. He needs to improve his three point shooting but Jeremiah projects as an impact player at the scholarship level and would be a steal at a place like Berea or Union.

Making the transfer to nearby Pineville, Beck is fitting in well with his new teammates and had a double-double performance in the victory. An impressive athlete, Beck has the speed and vertical leaping ability to be a terror in transition with his long wingspan to finish at the rim. In the half court, Beck was mostly used as a screener and cutter, trying to make himself available under the basket. Impressive to see a guy hit the ground running midseason for a team with expectations as high as Pineville has this season.

Beck was a revelation this fall at the two camps I was able to see him at. Very athletic, Jeremiah is physical and tough. Built like a tight end, Jeremiah uses his size to get to the rim and finish through contact, often getting to the free throw line too. He moves up from 126 to 48 in this update.

One of my favorite players of the last month, I’d never heard of Jeremiah until he was dunking on folks at the Expo last month. He continued an impressive run at Elite Camp and tested out as one of the best athletes in the entire group. He would be a steal for a small school.

Beck was solid in every aspect on Saturday. The only thing I didn’t see him do was knock down threes but I’m not sure he shot many either. Jeremiah had the highlight of the day when he dunked on a 6’10 defender that made the gym explode. Definitely a name to track, moving forward.
