The senior lit up the defense, especially in the first half as he scorched the nets with 18 of his game-high 23 points coming over the first 16 minutes. Sanford is a talented perimeter scorer that creates separation when getting to his jumper. He netted 4 threes and found points in the mid-range off the bounce. Sanford isn’t skinny by any means, but a year in a college weight room could do wonders for him. Sanford’s scoring ability should translate well to the next level.
