Jayden consistently makes his presence felt as a playmaker who can influence the game in multiple ways. He’s comfortable initiating offense in the halfcourt and pushing the tempo in transition, showing good pace and control with the ball in his hands. His handle allows him to create space for pull-ups and drive-and-kick opportunities. When the defense sags off he’s more than capable of knocking down open jumpers. Defensively Jayden competes on the ball and stays engaged, while offensively he understands how to play off others and adjust his role depending on situations.

Jaden did an excellent job of distributing the ball to the scorers and keeping the offense intact when I saw him with City this summer. He is the main guard now after some graduates have moved on, and he did well with keeping the ball popping and hitting the scorers. Jaden reads the floor well, seeking out the teammates who are scoring most consistently. He is the type of guard you want running the floor for the team, good size to see over the guards and keep control of the ball through the pressure. Doesn’t get too sped up with the ball and makes the right decisions more times than not.

Jaden has shown well over the summer so far. Impressed me back at Summer Madness with a blend of scoring and playmaking. Jaden looks strong as a lead guard for City and keeps control over the offense. He can dribble into any space offensively and likes to operate once he enters the second level in the halfcourt. Nice-looking jumsphot that he can get into at any time. Decisive guard that is confident with the ball, hence why he has risen as a main contributor to this new-look City squad.
