Elijah likes to establish his physical presence the moment the ball is tipped off. He will control the post/painted area the whole game using his strong upper body to bully his way under the rim so he can have the best chance to score around the rim. Elijah is also very disciplined and smart as whenever he gets an offensive rebound he won’t force it going straight up with multiple defenders swarming him. Instead, he will either look to dribble out of the paint or find his open teammates on the perimeter for the open three. He will set hard screens and does an excellent job rolling to the basket.
