D-II programs are watching Jaxson closely. Jones passes the eye-test: he is big, strong and the lefty has a soft touch from the perimeter. Jaxson scored from all three levels against Buford. He hit a three, a mid-range jumper, scored on a high-low feed and netted a floater to finish with 10 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Jones’ blossoming stretch game has him pegged as an intriguing late bloomer.
