Davis played with so much confidence this morning vs Bloom. Buried a pair of triples in the opening stages while adding a smooth floater later on. Drew several fouls and converted from the line as the game progressed. Defense looked really good as he’s becoming a much more efficient on-ball defender than before. Coast-to-coast finish in sudden death.

Davis controlled the tempo of the game against Curie. Didn’t take long to get going with a three right out the gate. Got up the floor at a high rate forcing quick transition defense. Additionally being more involved as a playmaker while showing excellent footwork with the ball. Late free throws sealed the win. Finished with 21 points vs the Condors.

Davis is making his case for the top spot in the 2027 class. Outstanding first-step attacking the rim with long strides. Also created at least four transition opportunities in the opening half with stellar on-ball defense. A fast-break dunk gave them a 34-point lead vs a team a whole age group above them, and it was still the first half. Outside of that, Davis was involved heavily as a playmaker and dished out several assists throughout the contest.

While the freshman sensation had another big offensive performance, his defense really stood out. Showed off some quick hands and displayed excellent defensive footwork throughout the game. Picked up 3-4 steals in the second quarter alone. Got it done in transition. At least 6 fast break points in the opening half including a fast-break slam. Found the bucket from all three levels and finished with 22 points.

The 2027 point guard is already becoming a star at the Varsity Level. Averaging 18 ppg for a Warren squad with one loss and recently scored 27 to lead the Blue Devils to a championship at the Proviso West holiday classic. Picking up wins over Kenwood and Lincoln Park in the process. He’s also an efficient passer and loves to get everyone involved. Looking to become a double-double threat on a nightly basis.
