has been one of the most underrated duos in the state, and it seems that everyone is finally starting to catch on. Gonzales has been on a tear this season as he’s putting up over 18 points a game, and in his recent stretch, the ball has been finding him more as he leads the way. Gonzales is a three-level scorer who reads the floor well, has good timing and pace to his game, and he takes what’s given to him. He’s probing and looking to make plans happen while also feeding teammates when lanes open up. He’s averaging 6.6 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and also has over 4 steals a game, and that’s led to some easy scoring opportunities for him and teammates, but now they’ll face off against a team that can match that, so it will be on him to be decisive with the ball, trust in teammates but take over. I believe he’ll have a big game and do whatever in his power to keep the season alive. He’s a player who has earned respect along the way, and his team will look for him to keep pushing to stay dancing. Big game incoming.
