Javion Morris Javion Morris 6'3" | SF Fort Dorchester | 2030 SC was one of the highest-motor players at this year’s Prep Hoops Carolinas Freshman Showcase. He rarely takes plays off and is always a player you notice because of how hard he plays. That, along with his excellent size and elite athleticism, makes for a really good player, and that was on full display all day long. In 3-on-3 action, he showcased his ability to win the battle for the glass, drive to the rim, work from the post, and knock down some shots in the mid-range. Look for Morris to put up big numbers from day one with Fort Dorchester.

First up on this list of names who could emerge at the Freshman Showcase is Jaivon Morris. Morris is a Lowcountry kid I’ve seen a couple of times and have been impressed with his combination of advanced size and athleticism for his age. If he brings the right motor, he will be able to impact things all day long against other 2030s in Rock Hill.
