About Jathan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a leader in the floor. I can jump high and have a fast first step. I like to steal and block the ball with my long arms.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally tough and not a nervous player. I rise to the occasion when playing tougher teams. I am the varsity quarterback and am used to pressure.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student Council- elected class treasurer, Community Volunteer

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a member of my senior class student council. I was elected by my peers each year. I am also involved in the National Honor Society and the Leo’s Club. I volunteer for community service with all of these clubs.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I tore my tendons in my ankle this spring. This was 3 weeks before state track. I worked very hard with the physical therapist to get ready to run at the qualifier. My relay qualified for state for the 2nd time.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to go to a college with a good accounting program to prepare me for the CPA testing.
