had big games to lead them to a win over Lima Sr on the main court. Taylor is a tough high school player who just helps you win. Grabbing a bunch of key rebounds and communicating on defense. As a point forward type player, Taylor sets the table for the Bulldogs and had a bunch of assists throughout the day. With a full squad, Green has the talent to compete for the Federal League title this winter.

Midwest Basketball Club Cleveland had as impressive of a weekend as anybody, going 4-0 and beating some talented squads in the process. Taylor was a key contributor all weekend as the forward continues to flash ball handling and passing flashes. Down 3 with only a few seconds left against Corey Graham Elite, Taylor knocked down a 3-pointer to send the game to overtime and his team to a victory which makes him a gamechanger.

One of the more unique positional changes I’ve covered, Taylor basically ran point guard for Green this past season and had some real success. A guy who impacts the game in a variety of ways, Taylor’s development as a ball handler and passer really stood out this high school season. A high motor forward, Taylor grabs rebounds over taller players consistently when he’s on the floor. I still think Taylor is best used as a forward at the next level but his quick decision making and passing will be a bonus no matter what position he’s playing at. Taylor also stands out on the gridiron as a wide receiver for the Bulldogs.

I’m very impressed with the versatility of Taylor, learning a new position for his high school team and playing point guard. Taylor isn’t a prototypical point guard, but he’s tough and is helping his team win no matter what is asked of him. Productive scoring in the paint and grabbing rebounds, Taylor is also knocking down more jumpers than last year as well. A guy who does whatever it takes to win, I’m a fan of the intangibles that he brings to the court.

Taylor is another example of a wing forward prospect who’s expanded his game to be more versatile. Green lacks many dynamic guards so it’s actually Taylor who does a lot of the ball handling and bringing it up the floor to set up their offense. His passing ability was on full display in this one, making some really good skip passes to teammates. If Taylor can add a little more of a scoring punch, he’ll likely make a productive small college jack of all trades wing forward.

Taylor is a high energy undersized power forward who makes it on this list for his motor and rebounding skills. Taylor also plays in a half-court system at Green that plays a half-court offense that relies on passing over dribbling, which helps their players translate to the college level and fit in with their new programs. I’m excited to see if Taylor can make a step offensively this year after Green graduates Zack Oddo from their district title squad.
