2/20/26: Repeatedly, James Davis James Davis 6'4" | SG Maplewood | 2026 State TN drove into trouble zones and drew a foul. He proved adept at shooting free throws. Davis was uncharacteristically loose with this dribble and committed multiple turnovers in the first half. Thankfully for Maplewood they easily pulled away from Valor in that same half. Davis projects as a small college combo guard, essentially a shot-creator. MHS does not get much in the way of drive-and-kick or probing passes from Davis. Can he do that, if asked? Unclear. What he is tasked with doing is initiating and scoring. He does both very well.
