About Jamarion
Expert Analysis
Andrew Force | Prep Hoops Scout
1/29/26: Scrappy. Jamarion “Jamar” Chapman plays aggressive on-ball defense. It is both good and bad, bad when he commits fouls or rather gets caught committing fouls. It could be argued he dances on the line with his arms. Still, Chapman forced a turnover against fellow sophomore Manny Holley Manny Holley 6'0" | PG St. Benedict | 2028 State TN (St. Benedict’s) Friday in the first quarter only to foul him at the end of the first quarter. It is a fine line and one that he will likely figure out. Chapman grew to 6-foot-2 in the last 8 months. Starts for Christian Brothers after starting for MUS last winter. Tall, speedy guard. He likes to contribute with the pass. Oftentimes young guards look to score, score, and then score. He shows some offensive maturity and humility, which is a positive sign early.
