About Jamare

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a center guard that can run the floor, play great defense, help my teammates in tuff situations, and being a leader to my squad, leading them through games.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a hardworking and competitive mentality. I stay focused on improving every day and don’t let setbacks stop me. I bring a positive attitude, encourage my teammates, and push myself to give full effort on and off the court. My personality is disciplined, coachable, and team oriented, always putting the team’s success first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I developed my attitude as a player, and my play style as a player, I play with heart and focus, winning games, and giving teammates courage to keep playing in tough situations.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced a lot of challenges through this journey, being talked down on, people telling me I can’t play at the next level *varsity* and how I won’t make it, but I don’t listen to nun of them. I just use their words as motivation to keep me going.

What type of college are you looking for?

North Carolina, and any college that would give me a chance to prove my self.
