Lionel does literally everything for Des Moines Lincoln, both on offense and defense. He runs the offense and is elite at attacking off screens and getting to the rim for tough finishes. He routinely splits through the defense like it’s nothing, and he has great instincts as a scorer. He hits threes from distance and is an outstanding passer. He makes great reads in the pick and roll and is a fantastic manipulator of the defense, fitting passes through tough angles, while also being able to dime up his teammates off his own shot creation. Lionel is also everywhere on the defensive end. He blocks shots, breaks up lobs, cleans the glass, and gets steals. Lionel Parks Lionel Parks 6'2" | SF Des Moines Lincoln | 2026 State IA is a one man army. Lionel did about everything for Lincoln in this matchup. He displayed an elite ability to attack the rim and finish off two feet in the paint. His balance and footwork around the rim was very impressive, and he embraced contact at the apex and finished tough layups. Overall, his dribbling was his most impressive skill. He would routinely split through small gaps in the defense and generate deep paint touches. He was at his best attacking off of ball screens. These screens allowed him to get downhill as well as opening up his playmaking abilities. He was elite at finding the roller off of these screens and would punish the defense when they tried to send pressure, by using that handle to split the pick and roll and create advantages. When creating these advantages, he was adept at making wraparound passes through tough angles, setting up his teammates for great looks. He stretched the floor from three in this game, and brought down many rebounds as well. Couple that with the multiple blocks he collected in this game, and you truly have a performance that can only be described as versatile.
