Macon is a skilled big man with a versatile offensive game, capable of finishing both inside and outside the paint. He can score in a variety of ways, from posting up to hitting mid-range jumpers. His size and strength allow him to dominate in the paint, while his soft touch gives him the ability to finish with finesse. Macon’s ability to impact the game on both ends makes him a key offensive and defensive presence.

A 6’9″ big for Albany Academy, Macon is a presence around the rim on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he stands out with his ability to protect the rim, both blocking and altering shots at a high rate. While that’s an elite skill, his ceiling intrigues due to his combination of agility, mobility, and positional size and length. He’s able to guard all over the floor, covering ground quickly. Offensively, he’s an effective screener-roller that can make plays off of hard rolls to the rim or by finding soft spots in the defensive out of short rolls. He’s an explosive athlete that gets off the floor quickly, making him a big time threat out of the dunker spot. He’s got a huge catch radius and a terrific set of hands, allowing him to catch amost everything thrown his way. Put the whole package together and you have a definite Division I scholarship prospect.

Macon is an active post player who is starting to peak at the right time with his development. He has great timing when going up to alter a shot. He is a constant threat from the dunker spots. Macon runs the floor like a gazelle. I like the energy he plays with on either end of the floor. He should see a ton of scholarship programs tracking him.
