Although there is a big gap in the rankings between the #1 and #2 2025 Prospects in Class 3A, don’t think there is a talent deficiency in this class.

for second-highest on the team. McGee also averaged over 2.5 Assists and 2.5 Steals Per Game in 2023-24. Jaleel excels in transition where he can get a head of steam towards the basket and finish through contact or half-court pick-and-roll sets where he can get the defense moving around and probe for holes. McGee will have the ball in his hands a lot again for the Patriots this year and when that happens good things usually follow.

McGee helped the Patriots win the Class 3A State Championship a season ago. Jaleel and his teammates lost Hayden Assemian to Moravian Prep/OTE this off season.
Jaleel who started off his career at nearby Berea HS averaged 11.3 ppg, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists a year ago for the Patriots (25-6). McGee really understands on how to use ball-screens to get by defenders at times. Jaleel has no problems sacrificing his body for a charge from time to time. He will look to bull defenders on the way to the cup with his physical play from out top.
Jaleel was very instrumental in helping the Patriots claim the Class 3A State Championship ago. His progress has really taken off since the second half of last season throughout the Grassroots season this spring and summer.

Jaleel guided the Patriots to the Class 3A State Championship this past March with his solid play from out top. He really sees the floor well and does a nice job of keeping the ball out of defender’s hands with his play. Jaleel uses his body well to get by defenders and set up his teammates along the way.
Jaleel isn’t flashy at all, but he really takes care of the ball and brings EFFORT to both sides of the court all game long. McGee is a physical guard who sure likes to use his body when it comes to taking charges, jumping on the deck, scoring at the rim or bringing pressure to the defender.

McGee is a certain Stock-Riser in the next set of rankings update in June. Jaleel has been playing very well ever since the State Championship Game for the Patriots. McGee is a power guard at times with his play to the bucket. Jaleel will use ball screens and his body to overpower defenders to the bucket.
McGee has good body control to the basket and really likes to absorb contact on the way to the bucket.

Jaleel seemed to be playing with a chip on his shoulder on Sunday Afternoon in a matchup with Upward Stars SE. He made it very difficult for his matchup to keep him in front and out of the paint, which is one of the strengths of his game. McGee is a terrific downhill driver and showed an ability to finish around or through the size of Upwards’ Bigs on his way to a 21-point game.
