About Jajuan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an athletic 3&D player who defends, blocks shots, hits open shots, and finishes strong. I hustle every play and lead by example.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a grinder with a team-first mindset. I lift others up, stay focused, and always bring energy. Off the court, I’m social, easy to talk to, and cool with everyone

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve received the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award and was part of City Leaders, a club focused on helping the community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to serving others, always putting the team and community first.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a minor injury that set me back, but with the help of Jesus Christ, my teammates, and my family, I overcame it, worked hard, and came back stronger.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I feel wanted, supported, and part of a brotherhood, a place that feels like home.

Another year where Harvest Prep will be a force to be reckoned with in central Ohio, the Warriors will pressure you defensively and try and score in transition. Wharton did a nice job of running the floor, making open shots and finding himself at the right place at the right time. With soft touch on his jump-shot, Wharton got a friendly roll on a few shots on Monday. On a team with a nice mix of young and senior talent, Wharton should play a big role for Harvest Prep this season.
