This Colleton County prospect is one of the top under-the-radar guards in South Carolina’s 2029 class. Now listed at 6’3″, he’s grown a little bit since I last saw him on film, but this is the first time I have seen Jair in person. Staying on the physical side of things, he will need to strengthen his frame as he gets older, but he showed flashes of skill in a matchup with Crescent in North Augusta. Doctor is a good three-point shooter in multiple situations and is improving his handle enough to attack the basket on 3+ dribbles.

One of the more under-the-radar freshmen in the state is Jair. I liked what I saw from him in one of my weekly film reviews, but it seems like he continued to show flashes throughout the high school season. Doctor has a lanky frame, which allows him to shoot or finish above smaller defenders.

He is on the lankier side right now, but as he fills out with age, he will be able to guard multiple positions on the defensive end. However, he can help the Cougars with scoring right now, and put up 7 points that included a smart cut for a floater, a mid-range pull-up, and a left-corner three. Look out for Doctor to be one of the next big things out of Colleton County down the line.
