Meyer does his best dunking in layup lines but if you were looking for the player who could finish his career as the state leader in dunks, Jacob is your guy. He recently broke the 9th region scoring record, capping it off with a dunk.

Jacob broke about every scoring record you can imagine at the All A this weekend en route to a runner up finish for the tournament. The state’s top un-committed Senior, Meyer scored approximately a billion points over the 4 game stretch and nearly capped off a comeback in the title game. He also scored his 3,000th career point on Sunday.

One of the state’s leading scorers and the best unsigned Senior in the class, Meyer is coming off a Junior season where he led the entire country in scoring but has been more of a facilitator this year. Jacob is an explosive athlete who gets into the paint and finishes regularly. He’s likely to put on a show this week in Richmond.

Meyer is one of the few competitors Reed Sheppard Reed Sheppard 6'3" | PG North Laurel | 2023 State #22 Nation KY has for Mr. Basketball this season as he looks to have a monster senior year after transferring back from TSF. Meyer can and will score in any way possible. He is very good getting defenders off balanced to rise and shoot or get to the rim. Has great feel in pick and rolls and is a threat to come off and score. Has 3pt range both off the catch and dribble. Great combination of size and athleticism. Exciting prospect.
