Ask any of Selah’s league rivals about Pepper’s ability to swing a game and turn on takeover mode. He’s of the mindset that he doesn’t care how many shots he’s missed, he’s going to keep playing his game and knows he can heat up in an instant. He’s a pure shot-maker who doesn’t need a ton of space to get shots off, can work from all three levels, and has Selah humming right now. Since losing their first two games of the year, Selah has gone 17-2. And even though Pepper can be that takeover scorer, he’s also someone who likes to get his guys involved and can make sure his teammates benefit from his ability to stretch and move defenses.

Jackson is getting off to a great start to his senior year and college coaches should be very interested in this 6’3″ guard. He controls the pace well and has a lightning quick release, being able to let it fly from anywhere on the court. He did everything against East Valley, dropping a triple double. He had 12 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds.

Jackson is one of the best pure scorers in the entire state. He has showed he can score in all aspects on the court as he can sink catch and shoot threes, hit smooth mid-range shots, get downhill inside the paint to finish through contact, and also running the court in transition for easy buckets. He should see a lot more college looks coming his way next year.

Jackson is one of the purest scorers in the entire state. He can turn it on at any moment, being able to carry his team to victory by putting the ball in the bucket efficently. He consistently gets down-hill with his quick first step and his strength helping him out. Pepper can drop over 20 points a game and in my eyes will average over 20 next season for Selah.

Pepper was pretty quiet scoring wise early on in their game against Grandview, but even the threat of his explosive scoring was enough to open up some playmaking opportunities. He’s a guy that defenses have to key in on with his explosion to the rim and long-range shooting and this opens up a lot of chances for him to make plays for others. Even with the offense stagnant he was able to make long skips to open shooters and zip passes through the defense, to the rim from the top. Pepper got some more action to the rim in the second half and started to drop in some outside shots but continued to set up teammates and showed impressive vision with long passes over and through the defense. With the loss, Selah finds themselves on the brink of elimination, needing two more wins to reach the state tournament.

Jackson has stepped into a lead role for his squad and has been doing a great job as a team leader. He’s a 6’3″ guard who has a nasty crossover that leads smoothly into his shot, leading to many deadly mid-range pull-up jumpers. He is a great scorer at all 3 levels and is only improving each and every week. Pepper is an elite defender as well, being able to guard a mixture of positions on the court.
