About Jackson
Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Hines is so fun to watch. The 5-foot-10 point guard is an extremely high IQ player who makes sound basketball decisions in his sleep. His outside shot forces defenders to close out hard to him, but he moves very well without the ball and attacks closeouts wonderfully. Once he punctures the paint, he makes simple, smart reads and always throws on-time, on-target passes. His passing and shooting ability allow him to be effective both on and off the ball. Hines looks like he has a lot more growing left to do, but his foundation of elite skill is what’s going to keep him on the floor.
