Connelly is so fun to watch. The 6-foot-3 forward has heft to him, but he has good coordination and footwork and is quite difficult to move in the paint. His strength allows him to be an effective post-up threat—on a number of occasions, he showed off Jokic-like turnaround shots in the paint that completely wow’d me and other coaches in attendance. Furthermore, he plays his behind off and gets a good number of rebounds as a result of his size and strength. Connelly will need to improve his ability to run the floor and play on the perimeter, but I could see that happening over the course of the next year for Arlington Catholic, where he was an All-Star last season.
