in the first half on Thursday night as the Bethel commit would put up 20 of his 26 points in the opening half. Burke showed range that extended to well beyond the arc, the footwork to stop and create finishing angles off two feet around the rim, and even some wiggle on the ball to create his own shots off the dribble. You won’t find too many shooters better than Jack in the 2026 class, and despite some extra attention from the opposing defense, still found ways to get quality looks throughout the game and lead his team to a win.

– The 2026 six-foot-four-inch senior guard from SW Christian versus St. Peter Saturday scored 37 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and deflected 4 passes as SW MN Christian beating 8-1 St. Peter 82-69 to drop them to 8-2. Burke made 8 3-pointers on 11 attempts shooting 12 of 19 overall. Through 7 games Burke is averaging 20.4 points per game so far.
For the second straight weekend I saw Jack put in a lights out shooting performance for Minnesota Select
team. There was a period in the game where he just didn’t seem capable of missing, connecting on shot after shot from beyond the arc. He’s one of the best pure shooters in the state’s 2026 class, capable of catching fire at any given moment. Has solid positional size on the perimeter at 6’3 as well.

put together a strong showing on Saturday morning in a win for Minnesota Select
. The 6’3 guard showed off his range beyond the arc, draining a number of threes throughout the game, including a few well beyond the high school line. He’s the type of shooter that can catch fire at any given moment, and helped turn a close game into a comfortable lead for his team in the second half. Coming off of a 9.7 ppg junior season at Southwest Christian.
In a Select vs Select matchup on Sunday morning, Jack helped lead his squad to a win. He put together a big first half, showcasing a smooth jumper on the perimeter at 6’3. Jack has a bit of a slow-mo game where he’s just under control at all times, and makes things look effortless as he creates space with a variety of shot-fakes and jabs. Burke was knocking down shot after shot from both three and mid-range to help his team build up a big lead early on. Has a high release point that makes it difficult to contest when combined with his 6’3 frame.
Jack was another prospect who put on an incredible shooting performance on Saturday. He caught fire in the second half of the game I watched, taking over during his shift. He started off with some makes off the catch, preparing himself well to receive a pass and get a shot off quickly before the defender could close out. He then let off a couple heat checks, pulling up from deep beyond the three-point line that he connected with.
