About Jace

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a disciplined player with high IQ. I'm highly effective at scoring, and equally good at facilitating by utilizing my teammates with my accurate passing abilities. On offense I'm strong in these areas: scorer/play-maker/floor spacer. I'm a strong on-the-ball defender. I would say that I'm a versatile all-around player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have strong work ethic and I'm focused and disciplined.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a two-time Aurora Scholar recipient from the City of Aurora. Mayor Mike Coffman has presented me with this award for my athletic and academic accolades. Two kids per school are chosen yearly to represent the City of Aurora, and I've been chosen twice.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I developed leadership skills by leading by example academically and athletically. I'm a highly respected teammate, and a highly respected peer in the classroom, holding a 4.0 GPA consistently. I volunteer at local basketball tournaments as well as a dog shelter called Soul Dog Rescue.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I suffered a significant knee injury early on in middle school called Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD). I had to take 4 months off of all athletic activities to allow my knee to heal fully.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'd like to one day become a Veterinarian so it would be important to find schools that have Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) programs or have the ability to transfer to it.

Williams came on strong and has continued to raise his level at showcases. He’s natural with the ball in his hands, carving out space in the lane and finishing at the rim with poise. His vision stands out as well as he consistently finds open teammates and creates opportunities for those around him. With his ability to both score and facilitate, Williams has proven to be a steady presence on the floor. The next step in his development will be sharpening his attacking game even further. Continued growth in his use of leverage, body control, and tighter ball handling will make him even more dangerous when breaking down defenses. If Williams polishes those areas, he’ll not only keep rising but also establish himself as one of the more reliable all around guards in his class
