Isaac heated up big time in the second half of Cy Ranch’s loss to Lufkin during Sunday afternoon. Saavedra hit several deep range bombs and made some tough, contested shots at the rim, plus the trip to the foul stripe. Isaac uses quick and shifty moves with the basketball to get to his spots for open shots and can reset the offense with precise ballhandling and good court awareness. He will be important in the backcourt for Cypress Ranch to stay near the top of district this season.
