A mobile, bouncy big man from Linn-Mar, Bettis does a little bit of everything for his teams, whether it’s the Lions, Iowa Prep, or his team at the Top 250. He’s a versatile defender who can switch on the perimeter or protect the rim, and he rebounds at a high level on both ends of the floor. He showed some good court vision on his post touches, willing to kick out to an open shooter on the weakside or find another big man when the defense collapses.

A long, lanky forward who runs the floor and crashes the glass hard on both ends of the floor, Bettis has the mobility, size, and instincts to be an impact defender. He has good footwork and touch around the bucket with either hand, and showed a bit of a face-up game during the spring and summer with Iowa Prep.
