Bailey is Asheville through and through. He’s been a star at Asheville Christian over his high school career, he stayed home to play with Team Vision for travel ball, and is going to play his college basketball at UNC Asheville under Coach Mike Morrell. Bringing a State Championship home would be an incredible achievement for one of NC’s top seniors. Asheville Christian has secured the #6 seed in the 3A bracket with a 15-9 record on the season. Bailey is a triple double threat every time he steps on the floor due to his combination of instincts, ball skills, and well rounded athleticism. A dynamic athlete at the PG position, Bailey is consistently above the rim in transition and using his speed/quickness to create shots for he and his teammates in the half court. He can make outside shots and is starting to find a groove after drastically changing his mechanics last summer. Bailey has the kind of game that can shock teams early and potentially help Asheville Christian pull off a few upsets en route to what would be a magical state championship run.

Bailey should be a hot commodity for DI programs though it wouldn’t be surprising if a DII got him in-state; an underrated athlete at PG who can finish with authority as well as he can make winning plays off the bounce; led the 17U Slam Orange with 29.5 ppg, including 31 points against AJ Bouye Elite P32 out of Georgia; can score and make things happen in a variety of ways in the backcourt

has looked the par as one of the top guards in the class of 2026. He’s strong and has a nice physic that helps him when attacking the rim, even tho he’s a more than capable shooter as well. Standing near 6’3 he makes some passes and finishes that some of the smaller guards struggle to make.

That stocky built lead guard out of Asheville Christian was one of the better guards in attendance at the Rise Tip Off earlier this month. He’s continued the production we saw for the majority of his junior season, getting to his spots at will and doing a solid job of finishing through contact as well as knocking down the three at a solid rate. One to track going into the grassroots live periods.

Bailey remains a target for DI programs to get on their radar out of Asheville Christian Academy. He was a productive presence and an All-State selection for the Lions as he put up 19.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.1 steals per game for a 17-8 squad. His sneaky athleticism coupled with his ability to knock down shots in all areas is tough to defend as his quickness on the defensive end. He’s a prospect for DI and DII programs in the region to covet given his continued development on the hardwood.

Bailey is an underrated guard prospect worthy of attention from Division I programs in the region. While his primary position is floor general, he’s shown he’s more than capable of making things happen in the open court and in the fast break. He’s shown he can get others involved while knocking down shots with ease and had himself a productive session this past weekend as he continues to draw the eyes of DI coaches. He holds an offer from Stetson.

Bailey is a kid with really developed physical tools combined with a scoring punch that is going to make him a dangerous player on the UAA circuit this summer. He’s got a ton of vertical pop that allows him to play above the rim and make tough finishes in traffic despite only being 6’2. He’s also always making the right play and looking to balance being unselfish with also taking what is his when he can. I don’t know him personally, but all accounts point to him being a high character guy and what college coaches are looking for in terms of character and culture when they want to add someone to their program.

is the latest name to emerge out of the Asheville Christian Academy fold. He’s a young combo guard that’s already shown he can play at a high level while drawing interest from DI programs in the region. He’s a high IQ backcourt prospect that makes his debut at No. 27 in the latest 2026 update.
