About Hunter

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a facilitating wing that can shoot the ball from outside the arc with the ability to get to the rim when I need to. I can play off all types of screens and can score on all 3 levels.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a positive mindset when i’m on the court and it doesn’t matter who else is on the court with me I always believe in myself and trust the work that I have put into this game. I strive to work harder than anyone else on the court with me every time.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received the Honor Roll award at my high school multiple times. I was also picked as Student of The Month at my high school during my Junior year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I don’t take anything for granted. I had an injury at the end of my Junior year that took me out for 3 months and ever since then I play every day like it’s my last. I’m a great leader on and off the court as others around me have always noticed that people tend to follow my lead a lot, and i’m comfortable leading a team on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My dad passed away during my sophomore year back in November of 2022 when I was 15 and that was the hardest thing i’ve ever been through. It was right before our first game of the year. I remember not believing what just happened and everything felt numb. I went to school and practice the next day and then played in our first game 2 days after and we got a good blowout win.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where my play style will fit in. I’m also looking for a coaching staff and teammates who believe in me and want to see me succeed.
