Houston was a bright spot for the Rams in their first live scrimmage of the month. He is going to be the vocal leader on the floor and in the locker room for this squad, while also seeing an increase in playmaking responsibility due to some departures. Long showed some nice flashes making plays when run off the three-point line, getting to his floater, or kicking out to corner shooters. He was also the architect of some well-run inbound sets, particularly from the baseline which resulted in 2 of his 3 assists in Game 1. Houston also worked hard on the boards and earned some extra possessions on the offensive end for his squad.
