A forward prospect with quite the athletic family background. He’s started to make his mark at the varsity level during team camps and summer league with OCS. While still appearing gangly at times with his movements, he’s looking more fluid when running the floor. And when given a clear run away, he can get on the rim via drives and even putback dunks. The fundamentals appear to be in place as well, meaning he’s a prospect who could explode when he starts to mature physically and his movements become more fluid.

Hawkins is clearly just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. Along with his height, he has an even longer wingspan. Athletically, he’s in the still growing stage of his development. With some “baby horse/giraffe” awkward at time movements. But even with the obvious growing pains, he played hard. With clear signs that once he matures, he will be an above the rim player. Was active around said rim a great block, altering shots and grabbing rebounds. As long as he keeps his motor up, he will be one of the more exciting players to track in 2029. An example of a long term vision prospect.
