Newcomers in 2029 Rankings

A forward prospect with quite the athletic family background. He's started to make his mark at the varsity level during team camps and summer league with OCS. While still appearing gangly at times with his movements, he's looking more fluid when running the floor. And when given a clear run away, he can get on the rim via drives and even putback dunks. The fundamentals appear to be in place as well, meaning he's a prospect who could explode when he starts to mature physically and his movements become more fluid.     Ball got his feet wet at the varsity last winter with the Jaguars and now has been torching the nets with Team Oklahoma this spring. Has clean shooting mechanics, making him a knockdown shooter as a spot up threat. Complete with range that extends a few steps beyond the line. Can get into the mid-range a bit as well, with a nice spin move to help create the space needed to hit jumpers. Will be interested to see how his footwork and movements develop around his spin move. With a strong 15U AAU season providing reps, expect Ball to see his high school production tick up this upcoming season.     Clark is a long armed wing, who's physical traits and energetic play has him set up to be in the rotation for the 5A powerhouse Chargers. Looks like he could potentially be a rim rocker down the road. With good hangtime and fluidness to his movements on drives. Heads up player, who seems to already understand that a pass on drive can be more effective than scoring himself. If he keeps playing a tough and making the right plays mindset, he very well could be next up for the tradition rich Tulsa Memorial program.     Jenkins has a very productive freshman campaign for non OSSAA program Owasso Prep Academy. Now he's applying that experience to EYCL play with Team Apex. Physically strong for his age, he has good body control and soft touch around the rim. Making him a plus finisher. Gets on the glass as well, with a gritty game. Will need to track how his shooting progresses going forward while keeping an eye on the 918 prospect.     Another freshman who saw varsity experience at 6A and hit the ground the running in 15U AAU ball. Already has a knack as a scorer off the bounce. Good fundamentals on footwork and playing through contact as a finisher around the rim. Appears to have picked up some of the hard nosed aspects on the defensive end that his older brother had in his high school career. Has the foundation to be one of the more rock solid, all around guards in the 918 for the Class of 2029.
