Both Lyle and Jones average slightly less than 10 PPG while staying active, rebounding the rock on both ends of the floor. Standing at 6’7, the lengthy forward can elevate above the rim while attacking the paint, hyping up crowds, and firing up his coaches and teammates along the way. Throughout all four quarters, Lyle never takes his foot off the gas pedal, and I don’t expect him to slow down anytime soon in his last high school season.

Lyle’s efficiency has become the center point of his game, frequently putting up high-percentage looks that typically drop straight through the basket. Beyond /his scoring, Lyle is a high-motor presence on the glass and defensive end, averaging 4.5 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 0.5 blocks per contest.

Lyle is a prospect who leaped this year and is looking like one of the go-to guys in the conference. Now with a big 1st round matchup in front of him, teammates will look for him to be the same 6’7 pest who impacted the game with his inside scoring. He hit floaters, turn around, and mid-range shots. Lyle was able to run the baseline and finish around the basket, and his size was effective. He’s had some big games where he finished with double-digits on great efficiency. He secured boards and went right up and was one of the players to know. Big game for him that we expect him to step up in. 

Lyle earned his ranking by dominating the paint and impacting the game with his physical play and high IQ. He uses his size and technique to establish position early, finishing efficiently around the rim and converting tough looks through contact. His strong footwork and awareness allow him to create scoring opportunities and control the glass on both ends. On defense he’s active and alert, securing rebounds and quickly turning them into transition opportunities for his team. Lyle’s combination of power, fundamentals and smart decision making makes him a key interior presence and a major reason he earned his spot in the rankings

Quick off the triple threat, Lyle is fantastic at making decisions on the fly and makes sure his teammates get involved in the action. Currently ranked as the eighth-best forward in his class in the state, Lyle has showcased his all-around game time and time again.

Lyle is a multi-sport athlete who has high upside, but now it is about putting it together and fulfilling those expectations. With his size and athleticism, and another year under his belt, it is time to take over. He has a 6’7 frame and knows how to make his way around the paint for finishes, but also keeps plays alive with his motor. He rebounds out of position, runs the floor for fast break dunks, and moves well. We want to see that on display at our showcase as we feel he can be one of the biggest difference-making bigs we have. Just has to show it and this is the place to. 

Lyle brings size and length at 6’7″ that makes him an intriguing prospect heading into the season. He controls the pace of play in the paint, using strong positioning and fundamentals to secure rebounds and keep possessions alive. On offense, Lyle is dominant on the block, scoring efficiently with his back to the basket and showcasing a reliable touch inside 10 feet. If he continues to expand his mid range game, he’ll become an even tougher matchup for defenders. Expectations are high for Lyle to take the next step and establish himself as a major interior presence for Centaurus

Lyle’s motor has granted him early opportunities with Centaurus, bringing the size and strength to hold up on the glass. At his best on the defensive glass, he seeks box outs early once the shot goes up, comfortably getting low to move around opponents. 

Comfortable around the rim, Lyle has provided efficient scoring down low along with production as a complementary rebounder with this Centaurus group. Posting 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, the 6’5 forward will be a key name for this group over the next few seasons. Comfortable scoring hook shots and pivot finishes around the basket, Lyle’s soft touch with the right hand makes him a name worth following in his early stages.
