One of the top unsigned senior prospects at the Grit Region Finals, Frye III helped lead his ABC Young Lions – Dillon team to the 17u championship game. The explosive 6’0″ guard had consistent success beating his man at the point of attack and getting downhill to the rim. He is lightning quick in a straight line, elevates very well to finish at the rim, is is always disruptive on the defensive end of the floor. Not only was Frye III a leading scorer for his 17u runner-up team, but he also was arguably the best on-ball defender in the gym. He was a no-brainer selection when the First Team All-Tournament subject came up with other Prep Hoops scouts.
