Long and lanky, Lomber was at his best at the Super 24 getting up and down the court and using his athleticism to finish around the hoop. The Valley Catholic junior scored both inside and out, posting up and hitting fadeaways but also facing up and knocking down catch-and-shoot jumpers. Defensively, his length came into play as he blocked shots on help defense.

The second part of Valley Catholic’s talented 2027 duo, Lomber is a talented scorer that can get his shot off when needed. Very polished offensive player. His ability to demonstrate that he can physically compete against bigger & stronger players will be key for his recruitment.

Lomber was the top scoring threat at the event, first posting an event single-game record of 29 points (on 12-18 shooting) in the semifinals against Team Vera, and then adding another 14 points in the finals. Overall, there wasn’t much defenses could do against the length, athleticism, and ability to score at all three levels from the Valley Catholic junior swingman as he showed equal prowess in both the half court and transition sets. While Team Leman lost a close one in the finals, Lomber also played tough on defense registering 3 blocks and 3 steals.

Lomber is one of several talented non seniors on the Valiants roster. The 6’5 wing creates match up problems on both ends of the floor. Valley certainly has the talent & resume to cut down the nets this week, the versatile play of Lomber will be a huge part of that success.

put together a strong all-around performance, finishing with 16 points. A solid post player with good size, he showed a nice touch around the rim and the ability to play above the rim. Lomber also handled the ball well for his position, knocked down shots from the perimeter, and played within the flow as a team-first player.
