1/30/26: Gus played very well Thursday against a weak F.C. Boyd, Sr. frontline. Gus essentially played center and owned the lanes on both ends. Like coaches always implore, Gus Williams Gus Williams 6'7" | PF Grundy County | 2026 State TN caught the ball high, kept it high, and finished high never involving the smaller defenders in the shots. Williams made all of his baskets within 8′. Listed as a power forward here his high school career typically is that of a center. With AAU Gus was able to play a bit more away from the lane. If he is able to play at the college level, then it would be NAIA as a frontcourt scorer/rebounder.
