The first thing we noticed about Nieman since seeing him prior to last season was the rising senior guard has added some muscle to his frame. This in addition to his athleticism helped him to really make an impact at Lewis & Clark camp. He was able to get burst going to the hoop to finish in a variety of ways and his perimeter shot was clicking both from deep and in the mid-range. As he makes the camp circuit rounds, we would not be surprised to see him pick up some offers along the way.

While he’s pretty much started since the start of the year, when star senior Owen Hopkins Owen Hopkins 6'3" | SG West Albany | 2025 State OR went out due to injury, Nieman rose to the challenge and increased his scoring output. He’s got the ability to knock down open shots – and do so with range from beyond the three-point arc – but he’s far from just a standstill shooter as the sophomore can put the ball on the floor a bit to create. He’s an underrated rebounder for his size and has a good motor on the defensive end.
