About Gregory

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is smart, fast, and unselfish. I see the floor early, read defenses quickly, and make plays that put my team in the best position to score. As a point guard, I control the pace, create opportunities, and stay poised under pressure. I’m competitive, disciplined, and I use my court vision and basketball IQ to outthink opponents, not just outrun them.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is disciplined, confident, and team-first. I stay calm in high-pressure moments and lead with focus and positivity. I’m competitive, humble, and always looking to learn and grow. I push myself to be better every day and bring the same energy, effort, and leadership whether I’m on the court or off.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No, I’m not currently involved in any clubs or organizations, and I haven’t received any non-sports awards yet. My focus has been on developing my game, my leadership, and my academics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills from playing point guard. I communicate clearly, keep my teammates organized, and make sure everyone feels involved. I’ve learned how to stay composed, encourage others, and lead by example through my work ethic. I’m also responsible, respectful, and willing to help others on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced challenges, especially learning how to handle pressure and expectations of life. I’ve had to work through tough games, moments of doubt, and times when my confidence was tested. But each challenge pushed me to grow; to stay disciplined, keep my attitude positive, and trust my training. These experiences have made me mentally stronger and more focused as a leader.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can grow on and off the court. I want a program that will develop me as an athlete, challenge me, and give me the exposure to reach the next level and pursue my goal of playing in the NBA. For me this looks like a program with a strong basketball culture, a supportive coaching staff, and an environment that pushes me to become the best version of myself.
