About Grady

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a team first PG. I try to fill whatever the role the team needs in that game. If I need to score I'll attack and look for good shots, if I have teammates that are open or hot I'll work to get the ball in their hands. I'm always working on defense in take pride in my ability to guard on the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a naturally laid back, and upbeat. I work to build relationships with my teammates and coaches. I enjoy spending time with my team on and off the court. I basically eat and sleep school and basketball.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I've been involved with various charity fund raisers with our school. I've been on the honor roll every semester and have taken AP and honors classes every year. I'm currently also playing soccer my Senior year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've had to work to become a vocal leader as I'm naturally quiet. I've learned that running the point I have to "direct traffic" and keep everyone communicating for us to play at our highest level.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. For years I was the smallest on our team and struggled offesnively. I did not play much as a Freshman, by finally grew and 6'0" entering my sophmore year. With this my offense abilities really improved and became a started on JV as a Sophmore, Started on and off my Junior year. As basketball did not come easy for me at first I've always had to outwork everyone in the gym.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for school that values character, education, and has a fun positive environment. I'm just looking for an opportunity. I believe everything is earned, and I know I can outwork anyone to improve a weakness. Show me the path and present the opportunity, and I won't disappoint.
