Six. One of the elite shooters we will talk about here, Ogden was often one of the top weekend scorers in 17u because he had so many big shooting weekends. To this point four schools are looking at bringing him to their program as Grady has offers from Graceland University, Southwestern College, Central College, and Buena Vista University.

A 6’4 shooter that really took his game to a higher level this 17u season with the Spurs, Ogden is getting a nice amount of college looks this summer because of that touch. He had weekends where he shot the ball at the arc from 45 percent to 60 percent!

Grady is a 6’4, high academic shooting guard/wing with length that helped the Spurs win four of the five games they played in KC.

Grady is another player from this region that really has good footwork as a shooter. The step back is good but even better is his ability to set up a shot and get to that release that has great length. Grady also has some range to him and at 6’4 and long already, he’s already tough to contest. That length also comes in very handy as a defender because when defenders got a step on Grady, his recovery is made easier with that contesting/blocking length (both on closeouts to the arc, and getting to contests near the rim).

Scored 14 points a game this weekend and hit 15 of 28 threes over the four games. A three and D guy for sure.

Grady scored nearly 14 points a game this winter shooting over 45 percent from the arc and he’s taken his game to an even higher level recently. Playing in the Midwest Showcase, Ogden scored 20 points a game and made a ridiculous 21 of 36 threes! Defenses would see the ball screen coming, or see the attempt coming on the wing and the closeout really didn’t affect the motion at all. Grady is one of the most locked in shooters you will see at the moment as contesting hands are doing little. Making 26 of 46 shots with the defense keying on you is a high quality number.

Ogden is an under-the-radar perimeter prospect who has been trending upward in recent months. His size and length on the wing immediately stand out, but it’s his shooting ability that has really taken center stage lately. Whether he’s knocking down shots off the catch or creating his own look off the dribble, Ogden has been seeing the ball go through the basket consistently and is shooting at a high percentage from beyond the arc.

Beyond his perimeter shooting, he has also shown noticeable growth as an attacker. Grady is becoming more comfortable putting the ball on the floor, getting downhill, and attacking the rim with confidence. He’s flashed finishing through traffic and over length, adding another dimension to his offensive game.

As he continues to develop, look for Ogden to have the ball in his hands more frequently this coming winter. Increased opportunities as a creator should further expand his skill set, allowing him to showcase more of his playmaking ability while continuing to attract attention from college programs.
