Goanar Bamach Goanar Bamach 6'5" Omaha Benson | 2026 NE is one of the most explosive athletes in the entire state. One thing that you often hear about him is his energy and motor. These things combine for him to be a tenacious defender and rebounder. He excels at blocking shots and attacking the glass. He is also a threat from downtown, where he shot 38% on almost 100 attempts last year. He probably projects more as a wing or a guard at the next level, so it will be interesting to see where his playmaking and ball-handling is at as we get the seasin started. If he can add more on-ball and perimeter skills to his arsenal, then he is a player who could shoot up the rankings.
Bamach averaged 17.1 ppg, 7.6 rpg,1.5 apg, 1.7 spg, and 3.3 bpg. He led Class A in blocks last season. It will be interesting to see how he builds on that for his senior season with high expectations as well as college coaches keeping an eye on him.

An wing that can throw down dunks with some of the best in the state, Goanar Bamach Goanar Bamach 6'5" Omaha Benson | 2026 NE is near freak athlete territory. A twitchy athlete that can fly through the air for dunks and blocked shots, Bamach is a springy, quick defender and he shows it on a consistent basis.
Bamach is almost always a threat to poke the ball away or jump into a passing lane, and no layup is safe in transition, as he shows the ability to track down the fastbreak and swat away shots at the rim. His anticipation both as an on-ball defender and help defender stand out.
A little on the thin side, Bamach can get pushed around as a ball-handler and can be a little erratic offensively, but if he strengthens up and adds some weight to his frame between now and November, he could jump onto the scene as a heavily-coveted prospect in Nebraska.
Bamach hasn’t posted any offers at this point in time, and, unless he’s purposefully keeping his recruitment quiet, it’s a bit of a shock. If anything, the potential he possesses as an athlete should push programs to offer.

Goanar Bamach Goanar Bamach 6'5" Omaha Benson | 2026 NE had a productive weekend doing all the little things for ETG.
The thing that jumped out the most while watching him this past weekend was his offensive rebounding. He has a great feel for his teammate’s misses allowing him to rack up tip outs to keep possessions alive.
Bamach is a versatile player on the offensive end who can step out and hit threes as well as convert put backs and tip ins down low. He also excels at making on time and on target outlet passes the full length of the court.
On defense he holds up well for his frame and uses his vertical to bother and block shots discouraging drivers constantly.
His frame can lead to him getting pushed off his spot on drives and defensive rebounds at times however, his other skills made it hard to keep him off the court. The best example of what he can do was ETG’s win over Power 5 where he scored eight points and racked up 10 rebounds and four blocks.

Gonar Bamach is a prolific scorer and one of the best players in the state.
Bamach has averaged 17 points or more in both of his last two seasons. He is an outstanding shooter with the ability to shoot off the dribble and off the catch. He is a smooth scorer overall who can get to his spot at all three levels.
Gonar is also real vertical athlete who will opt for the occasional poster dunk to finish his drives to the rim.
He uses that same athleticism and length in other aspects of his game. He is a presence on the boards as he averaged just under eight rebounds a game last season.
Bamach is also a playmaker on the defensive end. He is one of the better shot blockers in the state averaging over three blocks a game, while also being a stingy opportunist playing passing lanes and picking unsuspecting ball handlers for just under two steals a game.
While he is a constant threat on offense, he can take his game to another level by leveraging his ability to score and the gravity he creates to get his teammates easier shots. If he can become a playmaker for others while continuing to be a deadly scorer, he could challenge for best player in the state next season.
