Antonio Carson Jr. was another stand out of the Nebraska Expo and one of the vocal leaders of the camp. Carson led his team to multiple 3-on-3 wins and to 5-on-5 success.
Carson was an absolute pest on the defensive end pressuring the ball at the point of attack. He got a little too aggressive at times picking up fouls, however, the energy he brought was contagious.
There were times when he made ball handlers genuinely uncomfortable bringing the ball up disrupting the offense of the other team.
He also was one of the better offensive players at the camp. He shot it well from behind the arch, especially off the catch. Carson also showcased his ability to get to the rim and finish through contact during the event.
If Carson can carry his play into the season he should be prime for a jump up the ratings however, he can stand to improve his situational awareness at times.

An individual that brought great energy, crafty play, and smooth moves to the court this weekend was Antonio Carson Jr of Omaha -Benson High School. Carson Jr. registers in a 5’10, he has muscle mass to pair along with his height, and his play-style is consistent. Offensively, he is someone that can get to the rim off the dribble if need be, he can pull up and hit a nice jump shot, or he can create for others around him. Defensively, he uses his aggression to his advantage and does a good job at staying in front of his matchup. All in all, Carson Jr. does some really good things on both sides of the ball and that stood out over most during Saturday’s event.
