GJ Hill | 6’0 G | 2027
Hill finished with 17 points and rebounded exceptionally well for a guard. It works out in O’Dowd’s favor when he secures the rebound, the he’s able to immediately initiate the break and they get to play fast which is one of their strengths.
Hill is a blur in transition and an excellent finisher. He closed out the fourth quarter against Liberty with 10 points and previously dropped 20 of his 22 points against Granada. His electric first step consistently puts defenders in recovery mode and at his mercy.

| 5’10” G | Bishop O’Dowd
GJ Hill isn’t just a combo guard—he’s a problem for defenders. The 5’10” lead guard out of Bishop O’Dowd brings big-time scoring ability and continues to make waves on the EYBL circuit.
Hill shot an impressive 39% from three in EYBL play, proving he can stretch the floor and knock down shots with consistency. GJ is shifty, tough, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. As he continues to develop, GJ will be asked to run a team and control pace, something he’s fully capable of doing.

His overall guard play, and productivity are trending up. His 3-point shooting is improved, he’s been aggressive attacking the basket, beating defenders off the dribble, unafraid of contact, and long arm shot blockers bearing down on him in transition. He’s making progress as a point guard, ball movement, penetrating the paint for kick outs, and using good lift on the paint jumper.

GJ Hill is a dynamic 5’9″ guard whose deceptive handle and explosive finishing ability make him a serious problem for defenders, especially those who underestimate his bounce.
Hill helps continue that great conversation of “bring the small guards back.” Despite standing at 5’9/5’10”, he has a bag full of herky-jerky moves that naturally flow right into his shooting pocket. Off that unpredictable rhythm, he can hesitate and explode into a push dribble, blowing past defenders with ease. Opponents should think twice before attempting a casual chase-down block on Hill. He has a knack for rising up for an initial layup and then flipping his hand over the rim, often leaving defenders on the wrong end of a highlight. Hill is right in line to carry on the great point guard tradition at Bishop O’Dowd

A good ball handling guard with some speed, he sees the court, pushing, passing up, and around the perimeter. He can be aggressive looking for his shot opportunities, mid-range jumpers, he can hit the open 3ptr. He handles ball pressure, splits defenders. He’s shown he’ll attack the basket getting his shot up high off the glass over shot blockers.
