Shoultz has had a big summer, which should carry over into the winter. The 6’1 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and finishes in a variety of ways around the rim. Shoultz can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He pushes the pace well in transition and uses his length to get deflections on the defensive end. Shoultz is a crafty guard prospect who should make plays with the ball in his hands during the winter months.

One of the more pleasant surprises in camp, Shoultz is an extremely talented scorer off the dribble who can truly put up points on all three levels. He’s got a great handle and twitchiness that made it nearly impossible for defenders to stay in front of him during his time at Haverford College. Keep an eye out for one of the more intriguing long-term players in New Jersey as he goes into his sophomore campaign.
