Stables ability to nail the three ball is immediately evident making multiple for the Hustlers on Saturday afternoon. The guard can score from beyond and inside the arc, while also showing an ability to drive the lane and get to the rim. While shooting is his standout trait Staples showed a willingness to move the ball around in order to create offense coming up with a number of assists.

A primary point guard for a really talented overall squad. Quick handles with the rock and sees the floor well. Possesses speed with or without the ball to help control tempo of game. Makes smart pitch aheads when they’re there and doesn’t force the equation. Affects the game defensively just as much. Has a solid wing span at the point spot which will help as he grows as well.

Elite on-ball defender. Future would be my starting 2-guard in this lineup. He picks up full court immediately and without hesitation, regardless of whether he scores or not. Future has a defensive mindset that is impressive. He has good overall energy on that end of the floor, you can tell he prefers defense over offense despite being one of the leading scorers on his MPLS Hustlers AAU Squad, and that I believe will bode him well for, well…the future.
