Duo played with a level of instinct and flow that is rare at the 15U level. A true lockdown defender, he lived in the passing lanes. His quickness to turn steals into immediate transition points. What stood out most was his composure; Duo was never sped up by pressure. His ability to simplify the game, select high-quality shots, and involve his teammates made him the engine that kept Grove United humming.

Ezekiel played with confidence attacking the basket, consistently looking to put pressure on the rim. He finished strong when he got downhill and didn’t hesitate in traffic. His ability to stay composed helped him convert through contact. He brought an aggressive edge to every drive.

has proven to be a game-changer on both sides of the ball, effective from multiple positions. Offensively, he can touch the paint and get a shot off at will, yet remains unselfish, facilitating for teammates and setting off-ball screens to create opportunities for others. His play consistently makes those around him better. Defensively, Duo is known for his very active hands, both on the ball and in the passing and driving lanes. He takes charges at the block and often gets on-ball steals by sneaking up behind ball handlers in transition. He efficiently runs plays whether he’s initiating the offense or playing his role within the team structure. One of his standout qualities is his ability to play at his own pace, not allowing the defense to speed him up. Duo’s offense is never forced, he takes what the defense gives him and often converts layups on both the left and right sides of the court with relentless drives to the rim.

I really liked the toughness that Duo brought to the floor for OMGBA. He wasn’t afraid of the big moment, and in multiple close games he helped his team come away with wins. Ezekiel was so good at getting to the basket, and was almost impossible to stop when he got out in transition. At a young age he does a great job of playing off of two feet, which allowed him to finish at a high percentage even when getting fouled. Whenever he or a teammate made a big play, Ezekiel was getting his team fired up to help them pull away in close games. Was a big reason why OMGBA made it to the 13u title game.

In a game that went down to the wire, Ezekiel was making big plays in the 2nd half for OMGBA. It seemed like every other possession he was finding a way to get out in transition, whether it was off a steal or taking an outlet pass and instantly going into attack mode. Duo has a strong frame with some size at 5’7, and I liked how he looked to finish off two feet which helped him go up under control with defenders looming.
