About Ethan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Dual threat guard, knock down catch and shoot 3 but will capitalize on any defender. Use my height and vertical to my advantage jumping over or into contact, long wingspan with high mother on defensive side and will always get a block on a fast break. Can get to a spot on mid range and rise above defenders and I use my IQ to find open teammates consistently

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Outgoing considerate and friendly to everyone, but determined and hardworking focusing on consistency and finding my weaknesses on my game and relationships, determined to reach d1 level

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FFA, FCA, Student Council, I’ve been rewarded with my Greenland degree in FFA and multiple like good citizen rewards for representing my school at Christian events. I am a class leader in stuco and a student leader in FCA

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a very outgoing talkitive leader and I’m not afraid to speak in front of big crowds, I have worked for my school doing hours of community service during the summer and I’m a leader overall in sports being a captain in both football and basketball and being the varsity quarterback on the football field helps with being a leader and leading my team to victory on the basketball court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being faced as starting quarterback, starting at sg, and being 2nd in the state in high jump all as a freshman added a lot of pressure but made me a better human.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college where I can focus on my sport and community as much as possible. Where I could lead and have a lot of friends who are different and can teach me more things and help me grow as a person.

Tesman averaged 15.7 points, 2.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. His ability to score from anywhere on the floor, combined with his tenacious on-ball defense, makes him a complete player with the potential to take his game to the next level. As Tesman transitions into his senior year, expect him to continue leading Elbert with his high motor and defensive intensity, making him a major threat on both ends of the floor.
